How To Become A Book Review Blogger #3

HOW TO BECOME A BOOK REVIEW BLOGGER

With social media, there are many ways to share your blog. If you continue reading to the end, I'll share a way for readers to subscribe to your blog AND pay a monthly subscription fee.

How To Become A Book Review Blogger

ONE - CONNECT GOOGLE+ TO YOUR BLOG

In your blog, on the left menu, click
> Settings
> Posts, comments and sharing.
> Under "Share to Google+," choose which Google+ profile to share your blog with.

> In the top right, click Save settings.

Now, every time you click publish on your blog, it will automatically be shared on your Google+ profile.

TWO - USE GOOD LABELS

When you've finished composing your blog, and you are completing the sections on the right-hand side of your screen (Labels, Schedule, etc.) add the author's name of the book you are reviewing in the labels section.

Most authors have Google Alerts, so when/if they see your review, they will love it (truth be told - authors just like to know someone's read it) and they will share it on their social media network.

THREE - SOCIAL MEDIA SHARES

Once your blog post goes live, copy the link to your social media networks. If you connected your blog and your Google+ profile, you don't have to share it on Google+ again.

Take a moment to search the author and mention them or tag them in your post. Most times, the author will share the post, increasing your reach.

FOUR - GOOGLE FEEDBURNER

Sign up for Feedburner - it's free:

RSS (Rich Site Summary) is a format for delivering regularly changing web content. Many news-related sites, weblogs and other online publishers syndicate their content as an RSS Feed to whoever wants it.

You can also add your RSS Feed on http://www.goodreads.com/ - a book reviewing site.

FIVE - AUTHORSdB

SIX - VLOGGING

Create a vlog (video blog) and once you have uploaded the video to YouTube, you can embed the video in the relevant blog post.

The reader can hear you telling them about the story, and at the same time use your written word as show notes.

You'll get video views and blog visits, all at the same time.

If you are already vlogging, it is important to have show notes. To date, search engines don't index audio content, which means it’s important for podcasters to create content that can be indexed. Search engines love to sort through loads of words.

SEVEN - KINDLE PUBLISH FOR PERIODICALS

Sign up at https://kindlepublishing.amazon.com

If approved, your blog will be for sale on Amazon.

When you stop blogging, you should delete your blog from being sold.
