5 Ways to cope when bad things happen

Bad things happen to everyone, 
even good people. 

Bad things can easily turn your world completely upside down. Sometimes it can feel as if we have been singled out to receive more than our fair share, but everybody faces challenges every day unique to only them.

What’s important in these situations is not so much why bad things happen, but how we cope with them when they do happen.

Believe YOU are Worthy!


  • Don’t be afraid to ask someone for help. Talking about your worries and fears help, even if it is only to share your burden; 
  • Always remember, one way or another, you will get through it;
  • Never take it personally; 
  • You are not alone. Somewhere there is someone else thinking the exact same thing as you.
  • Know you always have a choice. While you may not be able to control what happens to you, you can most certainly control your behaviour. You can face the worst things in the world, but if you make the choice not to let yourself be affected by them, you won’t be.
